Registered Massage Therapy

Massage Therapists treat patients by using touch to manipulate the muscles and other soft tissues of the body, With their touch, therapists relieve pain, help heal injuries, improve circulation, relieve stress, increase relaxation, and aid in general wellness of patients.

Amanda has been a practicing RMT since 2005. In the course of her career, she has worked at some of Vancouver’s top luxury spas, including the Chi Spa at the Shangri-La Vancouver and Willow Stream Spa at the Fairmont Pacific Rim and the Spa Utopia at Pan Pacific where she was awarded Massage therapist of the year twice respectively.

By balancing both the art and the science of massage therapy, Amanda is uniquely able to provide therapeutic experiences that can transcend the physical body, calm the mind, and soothe the spirit of the clients she serves. Although she specializes in systemic relaxation and postural restoration, Amanda’s true specialty lay in her ability to replace her client’s stress and tension with a transfer of her own infectious positivity.

Asa Tooshkenig has been a practising RMT since 2014. She began her career at the Forbes Five-Star Sense Spa located in the historic Rosewood Hotel Georgia and later moved to the Fairmont Pacific Rim. While with the Hotel Rosewood she gained foundational knowledge and a passion for providing the highest level of service, by international industry standards. She is delighted to be able to carry this same standard of service into her private practice at Mana Wellness.

It is also of paramount importance to Asa that she provides a welcoming and calm treatments space to new and long-standing clients alike. Kaitlyn pursued her passion for helping others by obtaining her diploma from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Vancouver, BC. With her extensive education, she has gained a profound understanding of various massage techniques, including deep tissue and Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger-point therapy and the treatment of soft tissue injuries.

Kaitlyn’s utmost priority is to ensure the comfort of her patients. She is dedicated to assisting patients in achieving and maintaining optimal health. As an athlete herself, Kaitlyn specializes in providing deep tissue and focused treatments, understanding the specific needs and demands of an active lifestyle.

Outside work, Kaitlyn loves playing sports and being in nature. Camping trips, mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding and soccer are her jam.

Aletha graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2018. Aletha has since worked with a variety of clients including high-level athletes, pregnancy, and chronic pain disorders. Her treatment style is often described as intuitive and effective. She incorporates techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point release, and deep tissue to name a few. Aletha is also a trained yoga teacher (200hr), often influencing her home care. She believes a well-rounded self-care routine is invaluable for maintaining physical and mental well-being. She sees massage as a wonderful addition to an established routine or a great way to start a new one. She aims to have a holistic and integrative treatment approach to ensure a positive and individual experience for each patient.

Mariette graduated from the D’Arcy Lane Institute of Massage Therapy in London, Ontario in 2005. She took her passion for fitness into her career by focusing on sports massage. During the 2010 Olympics, she had the exciting opportunity to work with the Canadian Paralympic Alpine team through her position at Lifemark Physiotherapy in Whistler, B.C.

After the Olympics, Mariette shifted the focus of her career to working with luxury spas and has worked at the Willow Stream Spa at the Fairmont Pacific Rim since 2012.

Mariette brings her love of the luxury spa environment along with her ability to provide excellent clinical care to her patients at Mana Wellness.
